MIELCZAREK ART - Ts-11 Iskra

Ts-11 it is a work in progress 3rd party module for DCS simulator-game. Digital Combat Simulator is areial comat vechicle simulator focused on hard-core simulation of given plane or helicopter. Full clickable cockpit and simulated systems.

Ts-11 Iskra is Polish made trainer jet. Used in the 80 and 90 as an trainer for MiG jest fighters.

My main focus is on 100% representation of all systems like hydraulics, fuel flow, electronics and flight model. Additionaly as an 3d modeler i want to create most accurate and visualy stuning cockpit and plane model.

Reference and data

Im in conctact with TS-11 pilots , technicans and ground crew. They are giving me feedback and insights on working with this plane, a first hand experience that you cannot find in writen data in technical manuals. Additionaly i have acces to manuals and technical specyfications. Those manuals are NOT cofidential. Ts-11 is long time decomissioned from Polish Air Forces.

Digital Combat Simulator

Ts-11 Iskra module for DCS is working on alpha stage. There is a loot of work to make it final product. But basic systems and flight model are working on current DCS version.

ARTWORK

Im using photogrametry 3d scans and reference photos to create as ideal copy of the plane as it gets.

CODE and Flight model

All work is done in C++ and Lua, systems logic and flight model data.

I have coded fuel flow and fuel pressure to replicate engine lag on throttle commands. Hydraulics system pressure and flow for accurate responce on flight controls. And electric system for full experience during startup procedures and general use of systems in flight.

DCS and MSFS integrations

TS-11 project is aimed to be DCS and MS Flight simulator module. both are working with dll libliaries. With small compatibility changes i can distribute on both platforms.
